Oluseye’s exhibition “Orì mi pè” is inspired by merindinlogun, a yoruba divination ritual. Lead by Oluseye’s vision, I was tasked to design the immersive installation which illustrates the spiritual, mythological and biographical elements that have shaped his world view while reinforcing African rituals and philosophies as living, complex and valid traditions.

The installation, which combined audio-visual elements, was designed to be site-responsive, visually compelling, and thoughtfully positioned for an intimate encounter with the divination ritual and the Murray Frum Gallery of African Art at the Art Galley of Ontario.

The work is on view from February 15th 2025 - July 6th 2026
